David Beckwitt, graduate student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, is this year's recipient of the Green Chalk Award. What makes this award particularly meaningful is that the whole process  is completely driven by students. Nominations are only accepted from current A&S undergraduate students and the awardees are chosen by the entire body of the A&S Student Council. Representatives of the A&S Student Council and Associate Dean Nicole Monnier, surprised David with the award during the regular PAGSA meeting.
